travelrepublic v teletext

looking to book a weeks holidays for my daughters birthday , picked hotel & these two are the cheapest by quite a bit. heard of teletext holidays before but should i be asking anything before booking with either of these two companies

    Teletext holidays are simply a provider of deals from various different companies.

    i saw both have abta on their sites so am i right in thinking peace of mind incase any company goes bust etc? thanx

    ABTA doesn't really provide financial protection any more. What you need to find out is whether the holiday is a package sold by an ATOL holding tour operator. In the case of Travel Republic it won't be since they don't have an ATOL, in the case of Teletext, as others have said, they are just an advertising site, you need to see who the actual holiday provider is
