Capital One Cancelled My Card?

Just had a call from Capital One telling me my card has been compromised and they would send me a new one? Something to do with my PIN being compromised also?

Has this happened to anyone randomly recently?

Thanks

Was it definitely Cap1 and not a scammer trying to get your details ? What proof did they give you they were who they said they were and did they call on a number associated with them ?
(Not meaning to worry you, obviously.)
  • Haha I asked them what the first transaction I ever made on my card was!

I'm very vigilant on the phone when people call me.
