i also posted on the redundancy board as i'm unsure which is more relevant for my query. My company underwent a redundancy process in Spring this year. My job did not go in this batch of redundancies. I am considering redundancy IP insurance. Is there a clause that because jobs have been at risk in the last 6 months i can't apply?
looking for some guidance with those in the know in this area please.

Most policies have a clause about reasonable knowledge of pending redundancy and therefore if your employers make a bunch of people redundant, you run out and buy insurance and a few months later you are also made redundant then questions are going to be asked.
I am unaware of how the FOS have been treating complaints around this area in the last few years as given the current climate there is an argument that many more are going to be trapped by the clause as few jobs are particularly secure any more.0
