Non-UK resident travel insurance for trip to UK

Was wondering if there were any suggestions for brokers/ insurers/ intermediaries that would entertain travel insurance to the UK & EU for 4 months for a non-UK resident?
World Nomads are very high price, we want to pay for it and so rules out buying it from their country of origin, have seen a few sites quoting more sensible prices but many of the sites are shockingly bad and dont inspire trust.

Buy it from an Insurers/brokers where you are currently living.
I think some if the credit card companies, also have Insurers that can offer cover. See if they still do this.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
