Okay, Now I'm getting really worried. I already had a bad feeling thanks to a few reviews but I read the reviews on their site and all of their wonderful guarantees and fell for it.
I ordered a pram from this online shop just before 1pm on Tuesday as they guarantee next day delivery if you order before 3pm. Since I need the pushchair in a hurry as our big travel system is broken, I went with these guys instead of ordering the Obaby from Mothercare. I realsie next day delivery sometimes doesn't work out for whatever reasons but I sat in waiting on Wednesday for it in the hope it would make it.
At lunch time I received an email from baby2travel saying they didn;t have the colour I wanted. Could I advise on which I prefer from the list instead. I replied that I was actually sitting waiting for the pram (why confirm the order soon after placing it then waiting 24 hours to say they don't have it?). Vaguely annoyed, I asked if I chose a new colour, would I receive it tomorrow? I then stated the colour I would like if that was the case. If not, I could just go elsewhere and get a goddam cheap pram without all this hassle.
No reply.
At 3:30pm, having not heard anything back at all, I emailed again and asked if the pram was on its way then, so I could wait in today if so.
No reply.
I emailed this morning, after still no response from this shop and no sign of the pushchair, and told them to just cancel the order as I prefer to deal with retailers that at least respond to emails. I asked them not to take the money from my account. I'm quite annoyed a sthey are the only retailers of this particular pushchair and I loved the reviews.
Still no response to the cancellation, so I try ringing them. No answer.
I try again. Someone answers, but not very professionally. I thought I had the wrong number, not a respectable e-commerce site. He mumbled to ring back in ten minutes and he would have a look for me. I said, don't you need my details? Give me them when you ring back, he replied.
I've been trying to ring back for the past half an hour from over ten minutes since I got an answered call, and nobody is answering.
I reaslie they haven't taken my money (YET) and they'd better not do either. I just have no bloody clue whether this pram is on order, what bloody colour it is, whether they''ve cancelled the order or what. In fact, I'm not even sure it's even a real business and I'm concerned.
First time I've fallen for something like this in years of internet savvy shopping. Anyone else had a similar experience

Now I'm sure I am being scammed by baby2travel. No answer to my calls after almost an hour of ringing. They were expecting me to ring back yet it keeps ringing out. One call I made about ten minutes ago revealed the line was engaged. WHen I range back straight away - you guessed it - no answer.
I wonder if they're dodging my calls in particular (caller ID) or just randomly picking up the phone once in a while...
Very strange! And I still have no buggy :-(I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -
thanks for the heads up. will be looking at baby stuff soon so will try and avoid this company - doesnt sound very professional. Also their site looks a bit rubbish.
On another note has anyone kiddicare.com?0 -
Just to update, I sent a formal notice of cancellation and they have responded!! To say it's the first email they have received and that they have cancelled my order. No apology, no trying ot look into what has happened. Nothing. Make of that what you will.
Seriously, AVOID. I have sent them five emails to the address they just replied on and have called them 12 times, with only one answer! It's just not worth the hassle and worry.
Also, yes, their site was pretty terrible as was the ordering and putting oyur card details in bit. If I'm honest, I was a bit worried from the start but it seemed like such a bargain that I ignored my doubts.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

Kiddicare are normally pretty good in my experience with their next day delivery stuff - the only thing we've had a wait for was our pram which we were told when ordering was out of stock and given an estimated re-stock date. The only minor gripe I have with them is when I ordered nappies this week I didn't get my one hour delivery timeslot details until about 11am on the day of delivery which meant I was waiting in for the morning part of the day until I found out when things were coming.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
I know this is a few months old but only just seen it, days after placing my order :-(
Tried phoning calls are diverted to voicemail which is full, my sister also placed an order we both paid thru PayPal and both need a pram asap!
Any ideas how I can get my money back ASAP???0 -
As you paid by Paypal you can open a dispute re goods not received - paypal is very likey to find in your favour very quickly and refund you.0
