Selling endowments

Hi

I have an endowment that I need to cash in. I'm searching for advice on how to go about selling it rather than surrendering, but I can't find any mention of endowment selling on MSE.

Anyone have good or bad experiences to report?

    Is it a with profits policy?

    Try searching for 'traded endowments' if your current search term is coming up blank.
    IANAL etc.

    I can find plenty of firms that are offering to buy endowments. The problem is that I don't know which ones I can trust and which to steer clear of. I'd hate to take an offer and then find that I could have got twice as much elsewhere.
