    It wouldn't go along the Embankment there - there's nowhere for grandstands.

    I can't see the MI5 being to pleased having lots of tv cameras around Thames House.

    It would be nice to see the F1 around London's tourist spots, but I would have thought the disruption it would cause to local businesses and transport companies would outweigh the £100m it would generate in tourism.

    The traffic jams would generate lots of pollution.

    Would be interesting to make it more authentic by having black cabs doing u turns in front of the F1 cars, cyclist riding in the wrong direction, a big issue seller in the pit lane, tourists interrupting the commentators asking for directions, Westminster Parking wardens patrolling the pit lanes with the tow trucks in operation, the obligatory road works on the course with no one working there, a few double parked delivery lorries and an occupy London protest camp as the chicane
