How soon before date of entry can i sell my house?

Hi all, just wondered if anyone knows about this. I bought a property a couple of years ago from a developer. It's being built just now and date of entry is expected to be June (although this is yet to be officially confirmed). Somebody told me that i could market the property 3 months before this date, anyone know if this is true? Do i have to wait for an official date of entry before selling? If someone agrees to buy it, can i actually sell it if it's not even ready yet or would i have to wait and then sign it over to the buyer?
PS. Anyone ever sold a property on ebay?
Lots of questions i know, sorry.

Hi
I would read the contract you have with the developer to establish when you can market/sell the property.
I assume that at this stage you have not completed on the sale and you are trying to do a 'flip sale'?
ThanksZ

All depends on your contract with the developer as said above. Ask them. they will know what a flip deal is and be able to tell you.
E-bay- nothing on e-bay is binding. It is not like a real auction. you could bid £1m for a dump of a house, it actually doesnt mean anything. Its just to find out whos interested.
i'd check all this out on the e-bay thread first though.Anything I write is based on my opinion only. Before acting upon any advice from anyone on a forum further professional advice should be sought.0 -

I once advertised a house on Ebay and got about 20,000 hits, three exceptionally stupid questions that had already been covered in the advertisement, and no serious interest.
I wouldn't recommend it as I don't think the fee is worth it.0
