Oxford for two days

Hi, any info , greatly appreciated. We are going to oxford for two days this weekend. What are the must things to see, we are hoping to see the universitys, is that possible? Any other places. Thanks.

    If you're not sure what to see and want to get your bearings, go on the Oxford tour bus from Gloucester Green Bus station. It's a hop on hop off service and has great commentary. It'll show you where the Colleges are, the old prison etc.. and where to get access to the River. It's well worth a trip.
    A definite is to go up Carfax Tower in the centre, it gives wonderful views over Oxford, however it's not an easy climb with a very narrow staircase - so not suitable for everyone.

    Some colleges are open to the public. Christ Church is the obvious (but pricey) choice - visitor information is here:

    There are two excellent museums - the Pitt Rivers and the Ashmolean.

    Walk along the river and you're almost guaranteed to see some rowers practising. :)

    Botanical gardens is a must see and free. Have u booked hotel if not the Holiday inn express Kazzam Stadium is excellent and cost us 110 for two nights inc breakfast!
