East midland Lounge question

Flying out next week in the morning - about 7

I was thinking about getting some lounge tickets, to have a snack, rather than going to BK

but since im flying ryanair, i wasnt sure if it was worth it, as i would have to get to the gate nice and early so i could actually sit with the missus etc

also what sort of food and drink is served in there, and what price can i expect for a cheap deal

Well worth it in my opinion approx £17pp for upto 3hrs. They have snacks ie cheese and biscuits, crisps, cakes, sweet biscuits etc.
The drinks are cans ie Guiness, cider, lager etc, branded shorts, wine and soft drinks, tea, coffee, juice, fizzy etc. Comfy seats which if you're flying at 7 its really busy then. When we went the other week a 250ml wine was £6.10, tea about £2. it soon mounts up.

Good luck, get there really early as it will take you an hour to drop off your bags and an hour to get through security. Honestly, that's how long it took us a couple of weeks ago and nearly missed the flight. I suggest getting there 3 hours earlier than the flight if you taking luggage.
