I've never booked a package with them but had 3 or 4 hotel bookings
Nothing bad to report about them, I paid my money and got what I ordered.

I'm not in the habit of making changes or needing anything from brokers other than the initial deal so I can't really comment on what they're like to deal with.

Daughter and friend in Fuerterventura at the moment on a holiday all booked through Lowcostholidays.com. The booking went smoothly, all paperwork was correct and the accommodation details accurate. They havn't had any problems (so far) and having a fab time.

I used them and they were a nightmare! God help you if you have a problem and need to contact them after they have had your money off you.

I second gregg1's posting. Their website gave an error when I paid; nevertheless they took my money and gave me nothing in return. Promise to ring back and don't. 10p per minute + line costs to call their foreign call centre who just say they will ring back when they could easily sort the problem out instead. Useless if you have a problem even when it is entirely their fault. Check all the reviews at Reviewcentre with one star and see the number of times their website gives an error when you come to finally pay.
Will never use them again and do not recommend anyone to use them.

I think they are great and good value for money. The thing is with websites is that they do have technical errors. What if you press to book now at the same time as someone else and there is only 1 seat left? I always recommend to book over the phone, 95% of the time it is the same price as the website, or just a few quid more. At least by booking over the phone you know your booking has been accepted and your payment taken.

    Absolutely.

My daughter and her 2 friends booked BA flights to New York through LCH recently and on checking the reservation on BA's website, it transpired that only the outbound flights were visible.

When my daughter tried to contact lowcostholidays to clarify why only the outbound flights were booked - she hit a brick wall.

They would not respond when they said they would, in fact they were useless. It cost her a fortune to keep contacting them but still no response.

It was only when I got involved and threatened to progress the grievance that the matter was eventually resolved.

My gripe was that if I did not check the MMB on BA's website, then potentially they could have been stranded on the return flights that in effect did not exist - despite having received a confirmed itinerary from LCH.

I am sure many people will have used this company without problems - but check their FB page and other review sites to confirm that issues with his company are commonplace.

Judging from bad reviews, the incidence of LCH's website throwing an error at payment time is far higher than would normally be expected suggesting at the very least some shortcomings with their IT and at worst, a policy of loading on extra charges to sort problems out; the most obvious of which is the 10p a minute additional line charge to talk to an inefficient call centre who don't seem too willing to sort anything out.

When I had to keep calling them it cost me a fortune. I was informed (don't know how true it is) that the call operators work from their homes. All I know is that I spent a fortune in calls trying to sort out a mess their incompetence had caused. I had to threaten legal action before I got my money back and even then did not get all of it refunded. By that time I had had enough and gave up.
