Taxi from Faro to Albuferia?

Approx how far and how much is it from the airport please?

And is it easy to get a taxi outside the airport?

Thinking of taking my teen daughter for a few days in a couple of months, to weigh it up and see what it's like for our family holiday next year.

I've never been abroad without another adult before, so I need to know what's what before I have the guts to book it

And if anyone has got any advice for us (do's and don'ts, must see's, must avoid, best place to stay etc) that would be welcome too!

Hi went to Vilamoura Oct 09. We booked transport before we went. I noticed at Faro loads of little kiosks. Try Resorthoppa, will be cheaper than a private taxi and you can book online in advance

It is approx 30 miles from Faro A/P to Albufeira and I suggest that you google Faro airport transfers. There are a number of companies offering transfers and it is always cheaper ordering in advance. From €55-70 return for 1-4 people (approx)

It's a long way in a taxi and would shudder to think what it costs.

The only drag is there'll be a few drop off's before you arrive in Albuferia!
