Yes .. thank you so much ...I wouldn't have known where to begin (or end) ..I really appreciate your help and advice!! (not wanting to push my luck ...have you any idea how to uninstall cheat engine 6.1 ...my DS (10) installed it and I can't seem to uninstall all of it!! ..and then i will leave you in peace honest!!):o

No problem. We'll need to uninstall combofix, but first tell me if this folder exists.

c:\program files (x86)\Cheat Engine 6.1

Hey Waddler ..i'm just back in from work... Have checked and the cheat engine files do exist but are empty.

The folder? You can delete it.

Combofix removed the add/remove entry as it was orphaned.

AddRemove-Cheat Engine 6.1_is1 - c:\program files (x86)\Cheat Engine 6.1\unins000.exe

If everything is running good now, uninstall combofix.

Open a Run command box. (Start > Run or Windows key + R on your keyboard) and copy/paste this command in:

ComboFix /uninstall

Note the space between ComboFix and /uninstall , it needs to be there.

Click OK

let combofix uninstall itself.

Let me know when you've done that successfully.

Hey Waddler ..again i have been away for a couple of days so am only seeing this now. Yes!!! The cheat engine has gone and been removed from the control panel list. I cannot thank you enough for the help and advice you have given me .... i think all you techies are geniuses lol Thank you again Helen x
