RAC : completely wrong info on documents

hi guys,

Im just wondering if anyone has had any issues or dealings with RAC?
I just renewed my policy with them and received all the documents.

I received a temp motor insurance certificate. it states that im insured from the 4th july to 4th august...

the 2nd doucument states that im insured from the 5th july 2012 - 4th july 2012.....

the 3rd document states my policy changed from the 15th april - 4th July...

i received all of these documents today. due to work im not able to call them until after the policy is due to start...

i have no idea what is going on.

has anyine had any similar dealings with them?

I have seen similar. They send a temp certificate for the first month and then when the payment has gone through, they send another certificate for the rest of the year. A silly system, if you ask me.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

well i managed to call them and thats what they said about t he temp certificate.

But the person I was talking to insisted the other documents with the wrong dates were for the 2nd car i had insured with them.....eh?

She basically argued with me and told me i had a second car over and over. I finally told her to check the number plates...she insisted they were different and I had a second car!!

I got her to double check...guess what..no second car.
She doesnt seem to acknowledge that the dates are wrong but is sending out the documentation again.....not holding my breath...:(
