Dunopillo vs Rejuvenite - which is best?

I've been told the Dunopillo's are the best pillows available.
However I have also learnt that they are now made to a different spec by a different company than 15-20 years ago.
Can anyone tell me if these are as good as Rejuvenite, or if Dunopillo's are still the best, from anyone who has had the older ones, and now the newer ones.
Many thanks
Simon

I am also looking to find this out. And where is the best place to find the winner.

I bought a dunlopillo about a year ago and am very pleased with it. It's very comfortable and no matter how much it gets squashed, it always returns to it's original shape and volume. Considering most my pillows are flat and lumpy after a year, this seems very promising that it's durable and will last.0

I've had official confirmation from the current manufacturers (from March 2008 to date (2nd July 2012).....When they ceased manufacturing we did not receive any of there archives so cannot compare what they manufactured to what we manufactured.
There archives had not been provided to us. So we did re-create dunlopillo products starting March 2008
So whether these are good or not - and judging by the last person, they are still terrific - they are not what many people have said about them who've had them for 15-20 years.
So do you buy it for £50-60, when it's not what has lasted people for 20 years before????
It's a "NEW" product!
I don't know where I can go to feel the Rejuvenite product, which I read *is* made of the same Talalay stuff.0 -
IMO, pillows are a personal choice.
I had gone through so ,any pillows in the past 10 years, ranging in price from a few quid to £50 and still have issues with them all.
I like a high height when I sleep. When I stay in hotels I normally have to pile the pillows up on top of each other to get any comfort. Sometimes I even take my own pillows from home with me, done this to Spain last year in Vac bags.
At the moment, I have found the perfect pillow for me, cost £9.99 from Dunelm Mill and is their Box pillows in Firm support. Really comfy and quite supportive, with enough firmness with them.
Why spend £50-60 on a pillow suggested by someone else, when more than likely it wont suit you.
Also who wants a pillow for 20 years, which is full of decayed ' gob' from your mouth and dead skin? They are never the same again after you wash them.0 -
My Mum and my best friend are the most house proud people I know - any sign of this "gob" would put them off immediately.
What is this DunElm pillow made of?0 -

I know what you mean. lol
Thats why I begrudge paying out £60 for a pillow when it could only last 12 months.
The ones I have are linked. They also do medium and soft versions. The reviews are slightly better for medium ones, but as they say each to their own.

BTW keep away from meory foam ones, if you have not had one in the past, they weigh a ton and seem (to me) to be you are lying on a brick ! ( which may be a bit more comfy ! )0 -
Thanks. I do have memory foam pillows and oddly, I do like them. I went from a soft pillow to one of my memory foams, and I started to sleep better!! Probably coz they are not sunk in the middle.
If Dunlopillows did not last 10+ years nowadays, they would go out of business FAST. They are renown for lasting longer than ANY other pillow. So I think saying they will last 2 years is in correct.
They may not be made to the same "method", but they will still last longer than any other pillow.
Dunelm - just looked. Hollow Fibre moves about, and often needs bashing and banging back into shape. and they get lumpy. not buying that.
I'd get one, and 18months later I'd have to get another. So that would be £20.
If I got Dunlo, I'd spend £50, and it would last 15+ years. Far better value for money.
Oh... and they are machine washable!!! So your worry about 'gob' is ruled out.0 -
Dunlopillows are made of latex and come in various weight = height. They r pricey but made by an alternative supplier/manufacturer may work out cheaper.0

I got mine on offer for about £35 - although that's still expensive for a pillow. So, have a good look at one in a department store before buying and hunt for an offer if you want one. The internet is very helpful for this.
A major benefit to the apparent long life of these pillow is that it makes me more willing (and able) to spend £35 on it as I expect at least a few years use, hopefully much more, from it. I wouldn't say my pillows tend to get that dirty, but I've not had a problem keeping it clean as it came with a thick machine washable cover to protect it. The time I spilt coffee on the bed it worked well and the pillow didn't need cleaning, just the cover. Another benefit for me as I'm allergic to them is that dust mites don't like latex pillows much. I do vacuum the bed, pillow and duvet every week when I change the covers, but having materials that they don't tend to live easily in is an extra help.0 -
We bought a dunlopillo mattress 20 years ago. It was the best mattress I had ever slept on. When friends come to visit, we used to give them our room for their stay - all said the same - so comfy. Some even bought a new mattress from dunlopillo after sleeping on ours. We replaced ours three years ago with another 'dunlopillo'. Not nearly so good, not cheap, slightly smaller, and very soon sagging. I would say that the quality is inferior, without a doubt.1
