Parking eye

I'm looking for some advice.

I received 2 parking charge notices from parking eye. I stupidly did not investigate the company before I panicked and paid for both charges.
After making the payments I just had a bad feeling about it and noticed the thread on this site.
Can anybody advise what I can do to try and get my money back or do I just need to come to terms with the fact I have lost the money.

I feel sick with my stupidity

one way of looking at it is that once youve paid you have acepted thier offer, if you paid by credit card you may be able to get a chargeback on the card, althogh this may not be easy if not impossible if you agreed to the parking charge letter - and paid up.

The only case we know of was a Small Claim by Tasneem Patel (a Trainee Solicitor) over a Parking Eye fake PCN paid without a second thought by a hire company. She sued Parking Eye for the money back and won on inadequate signage:

HTH, other than that you have been scammed but please tell your friends & family so NONE of you ever fall for such rubbish again just because it looks like a parking ticket. You only have to Google the name of the company to find an MSE thread or ten about them!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
