I purchased a 5 year season ticket for a rugby league club who have now gone into administration and if no buyer is found in 10 days will be liquadated. What's the likelihood I can claim back part of the total cost of this season ticket as there won't be a team/club to watch? Any help or info would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks Louise

Dear Louise,
There are far more qualified MSE's out there who'll be able to give you a much more in depth answer than I, but was the total cost over £100 (in one go, not split transactions) and paid on a credit card?
If so (please don't quote me) you MAY be able to use Section 75.0 -
If you paid recently by debit card you should immediately ask you bank to credit you under the (voluntary) chargeback scheme.
If it was over £100 and paid by credit card, you can make a claim to your credit card company. see here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/section75-protect-your-purchases
Otherwise, you'll just have to make sure the administrator knows about your claim and wait until they complete the process, but you could get nothing back at all.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

If Bradford Bulls are liquadated they can start again and stay in the super league. Good message to the other teams who don't want to pay the tax bill. They should be kicked out to the bottom tier but that is another story for another day.
You better ask them if you would keep your seat when they start again0
