if it bothers you reading its simple DONT READ! your post is very degrading to many people , your tarring everyone with the same brush that they take out a payday loan with the intention not to pay, good for you to have paid yours , im on a dmp paying off mine, many find themselves in a situation they cant get out of and try their hardest to do so, how dare you make it sound that its so simple and well done you have had the chance and been able to live on 25 punds a week! with two children many like myself cannot. i found your post very revolting to say the least, if your not in debt why are you reading debt threads?

So why did you take out a payday loan, and did you nto have a payday after it so you could pay it back?

I find your post revolting - why do you find it revolting to read that someone has got out of debt? Is it because they didn't resort to DMPs etc, and have actually paid back everything they owe?

I'm sure if you had too you could manage on £25 a week for yourself and 2 children.

I find the allowances given on DMPs/Bankruptcy etc to be revolting as they are IMO way too high.

Ooo op cant say this, people don't have to pay back

LOL, made me chuckle, there is sometimes too much emphasis on "weedling" out of paying, than "manning up" and clearing your debts.

I usually stick on the fence, but my only mantra is "Don't Borrow to pay off Borrowing" Especially if it is 1374% APR

Let me start by saying REVOLTING is not a word that has been used to describe me or my opinions before but like me you are entitled to your own.

Again I did not slag off everyone who has been unable to pay..

I simple said the volume on threads on here with people saying 'I cancelled my card, swapped banks and there !!!!ed they cant get there money' well suprise surprise there not happy... Would you be if someone done that to you....

I realise more than anyone how easy it is to fall in the traps.. I had 4 going at the one time. and the stress and pressure of making sure they all came out and then having to reapply to get my wages back was out of this world...

I came to this site looking for advice on how to get out my payday loan hell..
And only seemed to find people saying.. Close your bank and cancel cards.. That is not how I wanted to go about it... It would have been a hell of alot easier for me to do that (trust me on that) but i didnt..

I posted my post to show others there is ANOTHER way.. other than to try and avoid or to go in a DMP and pay a lower amount..

You agree to the charges at the time... yeah they are a joke.. but you agreed to it.. then suddenly you dont want to or cant pay back..

Does anyone think I wanted to pay 5k in interest.. did I hell... But i did it and it makes me sick to think what I could have bought with that money...

Jessica. I for one think you've done amazingly well to knuckle down and get out of a downwards spiral.

Enjoy your new found freedom and treat yourself to something. You deserve it!

Well done Jessica I have never personally taken any payday loans I have been lucky that my mum has bailed me out a number of times. You should be proud of yourself well done and don't think of the interest you've paid just think about what you can save now which is my light at the end of the tunnel.
