Garden Clean Quote

Hello guys,
This is my first post so appreciate your reply.
I got quote of £260 to clean my garden and waste collection.
I have over grown grass, two small trees, over grown plants.

Guy told me he will charge £30ph for two ppl for whole garden cleaning which is full day job plus £80+ for waste collection.
OR
£260 for everything.

is it reasonable quote ? Please can you advise

how big is your garden & where are you?? £15 per person per hour isn't completely over the top but it depends where you are, and how big the garden is.

60Ft long, 15 ft wide. I am in West London. I hope I am not paying too much. Service includes cutting two medium size trees to ground level. Please reply asap. Cheers

It's cheap. Watch they are not cowboys charging so little.

Typical rates for this type of work, especially where petrol machinery is used, would be £40-50 an hour for 2-man teams plus waste. I would expect them to be waste licensed, to apply a professional herbicide (done by certified persons) and to carry insurance should they damage your property. If they use chainsaws they must hold CS30 and CS31 chainsaw certificates. If they work hard and steady through the day, a professional 2-man team should charge a minimum of £400 for a full day's work.

HOWEVER - it may be that the garden does not need 2 men for a full day! From the sound of it I would say more like 5 hours, but it is hard to say without seeing it.
