There have been some amazing deals on lately, one seemed great value a LOGIK 32" Full HD 3D TV for £199 at Currys/PCWorld

But it's from PC World!
(And notice the amazing and amusing prices of the cables below.)

    Me? I'd get this Samsung. No, I don't want 3D or Smart-ness.

    Samsung EVERY day.

My dad is one of these who spends hours pondering over what to get (usually citing The which report). His tv before last was a panasonic. He thought it was 'the best thing since sliced bread', had this feature and scored that high in this test etc....

I bought a Samsung TV which he saw, we now all have Samsung.

My TV is, my monitor is, dad's TV is, the spare TV is.

get a Samsung you won't regret it ;)

PC Whirled seem to have these "amazing deals" quite regularly, but when you get there you often find they don't have any in stock, and they will try their best to hard-sell you something else (plus a £79.99 HDMI cable, as JG points out!).

Logik is a brand that does not have a great reputation for reliability.

I'm also a fan of Samsung TVs - to my eyes the quality is on a par now with the likes of Sony and Panasonic, and they are often a bit cheaper.

That Logik is out of stock, but don't buy it anyway. Speakers are likely to be rubbish, LED backlighting won't be any better than a normal LCD, 3D in the home is rubbish enough, without squinting at a 32 inch screen (depending on viewing distance). That Samsung is £100 more. Richer Sounds have a few 1080 TVs from £200.

Logik is just a PCW badging job, same as Technika at Tesco. It could be anything, but you can be sure it won't be any good.
    Cheapness has a reason...
