In all fairness, The lady at Stylenest is unaware of this, so i will wait and see what she has to say after ive emailed her. I really dont want anymore than to just choose a couple of little pairs of jeans of my choice and a few t-shirts, After all, that is excactly why i entered the competition in the first place! I will post when ive had a reply. Thankyou again and as i said i do hope im not coming across as ungrateful, In its normal form , what a lovely win!!

If they have facebook sites or anywhere where comments can be left, I would be tempted to write a rather withering complaint of their mean behaviour and suggest that you would not recommend them to anyone you know due to their shocking behaviour and inability to deal with people in a fair and trustworthy way etc etc.. give them a bit of bad PR, always a good way of shaming companies into changing their tactics.

Hope whatever happens you get some joy as I would be gutted if I were treated that way so I know how you must be feeling.

I can totally understand why you are annoyed - I know I would be! I'd definitely complain - good luck.

I do think its a bit mean, to a company like DKNY £250 worth of clothes ( lets face it they probably cost very little to make, you pay for the name) is a drop in the ocean! I comp like most of us , to try and have a few lovely things in our lives. My thoughts were "clothes for my daughter" not that "she needs designer", she certainly doesnt , and being a nurse i certainly dont shop that way! I have to say its the first ever groan ive had with a win (not that ive won lots, but ive had a few nice little ones and one lovely biggy of a swiss holiday for which we are all over the moon) and everyones been so kind and happy to award the prize, This feels like im just a bit of an afterthought and a pain in the backside "Here, have this scarf , this will do " Well no it wont really, as i dont tend to send my little girl out in 50 pound white designer scarfs!

silly question, why is the manufacturer sending you to HOF to pick them? Wouldn't they have the SS collection on their own site?

I would explain how your feel - exactly as you have here. Explain that you know whats fair and if you don't get treated fairly you will take it further.

I had a win last year where the magazine sent me a letter telling me I'd won and to contact them. When I did I got email correspondence to confirm my win and then heard nothing. When I chased them up, the actual Company had forgotten all about it! so it does happen, but they should make every effort to deliver the prize they promised in the 'spirit' in which it was intended and clearly they aren't, you may need to rattle a few cages?
