Does anyone else do this?...While walking around the local shop today to see what was on offer,I happened to see 3 jars of Marmite on offer for 70p each,so I bought them all!!:D
I'll go thru a jar every 2 weeks,so buying the three of them made sense to me as they were effectivly half price.
So who here would do the same sort of thing as what I done?...

Marmite???? Cheap????? Where?????
I NEED this offer! Please tell!!!:D0 -
I am absolutely terrible for it and try to justify it in my head (who really needs 17 packs of mince 15 packs of chicken 5 lamb joints, the list goes on.........and on)
But if it is something i use anyway that wont get wasted it is economical!
Mt freezers full of meat etc would be value if i hadn't got greatly reduced, i'm actually getting better quality (free range/organic meats) for less than water filled stuff.
I've also just found the approved food website.......this could possibly be dangerous!I will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560 -

I'd definitely do the same! Maybe not with Marmite- but it makes sense to get a few when there's a good offer and you use the thing a lot!
I recently bought 18 copies of a magazine (including some my mum got me as a gift, in different shops on different days) because the free gift was a cosmetic I use a lot of. For an outlay of £36, I've saved myself over £200.0 -
Yes I would. I bought 5 packs of 9 toilet rolls because they were on offer and some ec0ver wup liquid as it was half price on Sunday. These go into my stock cupboard. I only ever buy cleaning products on offer and have noticed a pattern of when these items come up on offer.
Marmite - I only eat that if Im pregnant so hubby would be getting worried if he saw me putting that into my basket. It was how he surmised I was pregnant with my third and fourth baby - he wandered in to find me spooning it out of the jar and asked me to take a test:eek:. I guess cos it is full of B vitamins.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I'm more likely to get bulk bargains if shopping on my own so I can hide the treasure, as if they boys know we have the wonder bargains, they think it's an excuse to use up the wonder bargains super fast, so they become unbargainous. I'd have bought the marmite even with them though :-).0
