Sorry I thought this was a new car, still would be worth Checking the bvla document as this will at least show what would be acceptable on a car supplied as new.
  • What is a bvla document?

The person who collected my car was impressed with its condition, when he rang me about collecting it I mentioned this independent check thing and he said it wasn't worth it unless it had something major wrong with the car, which it didn't.

He commended me on the condition of the car and said this was the 1st vectra he had collected that had no dents.

Gonna keep trying to get the £240 at least reduced, not willing to give up just yet.
