the orange are the value range of Pampers, I know a few ladies on the facebook group have had issues with rash and blisters with the orange pack. I don't think they last all night either, but they may suit your baby :)

Thanks for those replies, i did look at the site, but couldn't see that, ty neneromanova,

grandaughter is now 16 months old, and these nappies are on offer at morissons (the orange ones) £3.74ish for 47 nappies, daughter paid £6ish for a lot less last week.

I've bought the orange ones before and they seem fine with my grandaughter, she's never woke up wet, so i may stick with them, price wise it's a good offer.

Next question, grandaughter is now 16 months old, and i buy her size 4.5, were going away in nov 4 months away, and i was thinking of buying some nappies for us to take with me, so if i bought a packet would you then go for size 5, daughter was going to buy them on holiday, because of luggage allowance, but there is another 4 adults going with them, and i thought between us 4 we could take 80 nappies, 20 each in our case.

    thanks for replies.

The orange ones are the simply dry range, a cheaper range as Gillyx says, not intended for overnight though I don't think. The baby dry ones in a green pack can be used for 12 hours.

I have been using pampers simply dry (orange pack) on my son since he was born and he is now 7 months old. They are my favourite nappy and they have never leaked. My son now sleeps for 12 hours at night and treats me to some pretty nasty nappies first thing but as I say these have never leaked on him and have never made him sore.

I only recently found out that these were pampers value range & that others weren't impressed, after I saw the morrisions deal on HDUk this week and seen negative comments about them. I always thought they were the best pampers and was surprised to find out that they were the value version. I never liked the pampers in the green packet as they seemed to have a strange chemical smell when wet.

I think it's horses for courses when it comes to nappies and is a bit of trial and error to find one that suits. I know many people who use ones that leaked with my baby. But the morrisions offer on pampers simply dry is good and I'm stocking up :)

thank you, we have used them on my grandaughter before and she's never had a rash, over the past 16 months we've gone between the green and orange packs.

Never wondered before until i saw the morissons offer before.

Going to stock up and get a few packets.
  • We usually use Asda's Little Angels nappies, which are 2 packs of 56 for £10, but used the orange Pampers and Huggies, but never had any problems with Pampers. Huggies I found leaked.

I'm becoming increasingly impressed by the Kiddicare ones to be honest - finding them about on a par with Pampers for thinness and absorbency. They certainly coped with poomageddon last night.

Me too - we haven't had a leak in 5 months of using them.
