Hey! Each to their own. Cross pens are fabulous but I got one for my fiancee massively reduced at Secret Sale last year.

I love the secret sales, as a regular customer I also get those emails. Bought my hubby a gorgeous pen at a fab price from one of those. Never seen the Gold 18K at this price before though, even in a secret sale! Its our 25th Anniversary in a few months, so hubby has bought this for me as my gift. My new pen will symbolise 25 years together and getting it at this price is so amazing :D

Lol, does it come with red ink, I could do with one for marking.

You can buy red, blue, brown, black ink for all Cross pens :D I like to use the brown in my Cross ink pens and black in my ball pens. For my Uni studies I use a red gel pen I bought from WH Smith :j for a few pounds for 10 I think. I go through masses of red pens, I like red pens (and yellow highlighters, but that is another story hehe)

OP I think you should amend your title.

    This is what it says.

'Townsend 18 Carat Gold Filled/Rolled Gold Ballpoint Pen'

I hope you know the difference between rolled gold and solid gold.

Of course I do :p but didn't see the need to put the whole lot in there, anyone interested follows the link and gets all the info they need.

It isn't a solid 18 carat gold pen (as your header and link imply heavily), it's a plated one and that should really be made clear...

Why? can people not read when they follow the link if they are interested? Your point seems petty, so I'll duly ignore it.

I graduated in July last year and my DH bought me a beautiful cross pen that I use - It writes lovely and is very precious to me.

    I really didn't think i was a "pen person", but I couldn't give it back ;)

What a lovely gift from your husband on your graduation, something to celebrate your achievement and all that hard work. Well done you :T

Why should they have to follow a link to something to find out it is something different ? Your attitude seems petty, tbh if you're happy to mislead people and potentially waste their time.

I doubt I have wasted your time, your only purpose on the thread seems to be nit picking. Maybe you don't have anything better to do huh. I am quite content in those that thanked me and went to get this fabulous offer, but anyway, you've bored me enough with your pettiness, I've heard you :D now move along!
