Swinton insurance..phone pests

I wanted a quote for insurance and ticked usually pay monthly. (this can usually be changed to annually on the insurers own site later and the premium stays the same). Swinton quoted the best pay monthly £370 but with a whopping 31% interest on top.:( To avoid this interest charge I decided to opt for annual payment. The site doesn't allow you to do this, you have to ring a call centre. I was then quoted £433. Seems that they hook you with a low quote which can only be purchased if you pay the expensive interest. I refused this quote and asked Swintons call centre to not contact me with follow up calls..they are now phoning. I now fear that I will be getting more of these calls. I am also informed that they pass on phone numbers to others so my XD phone will no doubt be ringing with these pests. DO NOT TRUST SWINTONS QUOTE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ps Later, I took Martins advice and used a number of other comparison sites..got cover for £355 with less excess and better cover.:rotfl:
