Supplemetary Bonding

Hi, hope someone can just clarify things......

in process of re-doing ensuite in house..........have removed old items and replacing with some new.

Basin pipes to both taps both had earth straps as expected which i have keep but had to push further back and is now behind plaster board ...tut tut... although can still be seen from airing cupboard side so hope thats okay :)

Question really relates to rad...have removed old one which had an earth point fixed to bottom and looked unsightly and replaced with a chrome towel rail .....this has no earth point attachment so can i connect to one of the pipes as it is all metal? Can i hide this (i know the answer probably is no!) but otherwise it will look worse than before! and do i need to put a tag on the return pipe too?

Another Q is that the shower is being resighted although there is no visible earth on the pipes but continuity does look as if it comes from airing cupboard....i have had to use a speedfit fitting so shall i just 'jump ' these with clamps and earth wire......although i will have no choice but to bury these :)

Thanks in advance,

Gardnt1

If you have an RCD then leave it until version 17 of the Electrical Regs is published as allegedly bonding requirements are being removed :D
