Cover for replacement vehicle when touring Southern Ireland

We have a 14 nights touring holiday planned for July around Southern Ireland. We are going in our 1980's T25 VW camper which has been regularly serviced and so far alway reliable. We are in the RAC but we would like to get additional insurance that covers us so that in the event of a serious breakdown or god forbid an accident the camper is transported back to our home address and we are provided with a replacement vehicle (car for three adults, one toddler and luggage - we are staying in b and b's so not sleeping in camper) for the remainder of the holiday. If anyone out there could advise on the best policy for us would be very grateful. We haven't currently got any travel insurance policy, last year's was with Medici Travel which provided the best for us bearing in mind our adult daughter was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour four years ago but has remained clear since treatment :T.

Does the RAC not cover you for bringing the car back?

I think their top package only offers a hire car for 3 days. Maybe try autoaid?

You need to pay the costs but then claim it back, If you can afford to do that.
