Santander OD charges

Hi
I just got a Prenotification of charge alert email from Santander, so I logged on to internet banking and there is a £3 charge due to be applied on 18/07.
However my account has had a positive balance since 30/05 and a fee of £20 was taken on 18/06 for OD usage so I'm a little unsure of where the £3 has come from? I thought the fee in June would have been for May's OD usage?
Do they run the charges 2 months behind?
