You can still do it!;)0 -
Thursday was NSD 7 and yesterday (Sat) was NSD 8. We had a lovely meal with pudding and drinks yesterday and didn't have to go out for anything. We were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and had a lovely day.
Freeby, I hope your luck changes for the better soon. What a week you've had!
Rising, good luck with your diet. Lily, Lucy and Star all send a woof and a lick for Maisie and hope she'll be her normal self soon.
Big hugs for all who are unwell or out of sorts and everyone who needs one.

I am determined to have at least 5 nsds this month (half of the original 10 I was aiming for!) so I think I need to lock myself up today - shame I can't even sit in the garden and read as it's a lovely sunny day here today but the garden is too full of car parts (don't even ask) to sit in it!
If I still aim for my 10 nsds I set myself, I can have one more day of spending this month and that is just not going to happen in the remaining 10 days of the month!!! Ah well it has been an eye opening month tbh seeing just how much I spend. I have also felt completely lost when I don't take my card out with me - even though when I have it on me and there is nothing in my account I am fine??? It is really weird! Really need to get out of that frame of mind.
It is the food that is causing me issues - I don't like food. Consequently I never know what to get when I try shopping weekly and end up spending more money on non food products or junk!!! Would have already had a few nsds had it not been for the trip to the take away for a meal.
Ah well, it's a big problem for me that I guess in time will be at least partly resolved. Well I hope so anyway! :rotfl:
Finally debt free! :j :j :j

Hello everyone! We actually have a yellow ball in the sky this weekend so I hope others of you have too
Declaring Number 7 here today! Hoping for a better NSD week than I had last week although I know tomorrow will be a spendy day.
Rising - See what you think to the Sky coverage, we get the F1 channel but normally prefer to wait and watch the coverage on the beeb as we prefer it. We went to Silverstone the other week and we said we would name the baby after whoever won, Fernando Alonso was winning (as Im sure you know) for most of it so we were getting a bit worried!!! Mark is a much better name than Fernando! :rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
So, yesterday makes NSD number 4!
If I can contain my internet shopping until tomorrow, then today will be NSD number 5... I have 2 hours till I go out to work though, so don't trust myself to declare too soon! I shall take a book and a long cool drink into the garden though, so I should be suitably distracted from the 'puter.
I have my eye on a beautiful print online, have wanted it for ages, and I have a perfect wall spot for it... that is what I'm trying to resist buying just now. Perhaps if I make my NSD target I'll buy it? That is rather disregarding the point of the challenge, but if I take the view that the money I save on pointless spends on those days will more than cover the cost of the print and p&p, it might give me an incentive to actually make my target for the first time in months?! Hmm. Feeling like I'm being a bit of a fraud here...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Good afternoon folks:D,
Marmite & Freeby, thanks for the good wishes about last night. It was a brilliant night, although to say I overindulged on the Red would be something of an understatement:o! I mistakenly thought there would be food, so didn't have dinner, arrived at the party and of course had way too much Red and was quite drunk:o. The hangover has only just started to subside and there is no way I'll be having any alcohol today:eek:.
On a positive not though, I'm declaring NSD12 for today please:beer:
I hope everyone is well and having a good sunday, as I haven't yet caught up on all of the posts. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Thanks all for the well wishes for Maisie - vet seems to think it's because she's not been exposed to "everyday dog bugs" during her life (came from the middle of nowhere ... literally!) so has no immunity built up - hopefully this will be the last time before she gets some!:) Planning a very quiet couple of weeks with her, gently lead walks just around the streets near home so hopefully she can't catch anything else!Rising - See what you think to the Sky coverage, we get the F1 channel but normally prefer to wait and watch the coverage on the beeb as we prefer it.
:rotfl:I have already sent an email to complaint to the beeb this year as the commentary is now awful  - I also really miss all the free practice sessions etc (used to get these years ago, can't remember if it was when it was on the beeb or euro*sport) - so it's been nice to have them again this weekend (yup, I am a total addict!).
It's also been nice seeing some of the other classes or racing - GP2, GP3 etc which you never see on terrestrial.....we said we would name the baby after whoever won, Fernando Alonso was winning (as Im sure you know) for most of it so we were getting a bit worried!!!
:eek::eek: Indeed ......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(ps you must be addicts too:D)
Spend today (again!) - DM gave me a 6p off / litre voucher for Mr M fuel so came home that way (not one near me).....
Now - must go & make my 0 point jelly for tomorrow!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
