Driving to work this morning and the exhaust fell off the car :eek::eek: Recovered by breakdown from my insurance back to garage who informed me, not only do I need exhaust but 2 new tyres as well. Over 200 quid later and my car is back.

And.........so much for going to work early, I didn't get there at all today which means I have even more bl00dy catching up to do.

Also......two, yes two people who I work in the same place as, drove merrily past me :mad: and as a lone female on a very very busy euro route standing petrified at the side of the road there was only one person stopped to make sure I was okay :mad: and it took the recovery nearly an hour and a half to rescue me :mad:


I am not a happy freeby! :mad::mad::mad:

I'm not surprised you're not happy, Freeby, I'd be livid, not so much at the car, you can't help that, but your bloomin' inconsiderate colleagues:mad:, that's not on :mad:

No 8 today - it was a home lunch today so no opportunities to spend (although I don't know why it always rains on the days I come home, but the dog walker seems to manage to get a dry bit to take her out whenever he comes :cool:)

Living on 2 lots of JSA at the minute so Ferret and Marmite sarnies sound quite filling and nutritious at the minute! :rotfl:

Not another NSD here I am soooooooooooooo annoyed :mad: its little purchases that keep making me miss them, trouble is they have all been little things I have had to buy and couldnt put off eg todays was Electric top up as we ran out! Definately out of practice with this NSD lark so will be back with a bit lower target for next month. Like my school reports used to say................could do better!

Evening everyone - how is it 8pm already, I swear someone keeps pinching my evenings.

Freeby - sorry to hear about your car, and what naff colleagues too (I'd rememeber not to put anything into their brithday / maternity or any other collections if i were you)

Not a NSD for me today but not toooooo bad (so far ) quick rundown

40p - Wilkos
£2 - Savers (for OH)
£5 - eyebrows (really needed doing)
and £4 Tacto visit 1 (which included 2 tubs or marge, 1 box of cat food, 2 boxes of cereal and several coupons :rotfl:)

while I was in said Tacto I also saw that had that really expenisve Oral-B toothpaste RTC, so printed off a few more coupons I new I have from MC on FB and trotted back there after work, two tubes for £1.48 (normally about £3.99 each at full price :eek:) gave one to mum as I stopped in there on the way home.

Bedding from Debs turned up today - think it's a keeper - well it has no bird poo stains on which is a bonus.

Better go, lots to do still. Tootle pip! xx
