How do you pick yourself up?

We are FTBs, and had our offer accepted last week. It was the 4th property we offered on. The first 3 we bid on we liked, but now thinking back, one of us always liked it more than the other. Especially with the third one, I ended up agreeing to it as my partner loved it, out of fatigue of looking really, and it was just OK. Now I'm SOOO pleased that the one we had our offer accepted on is this one, as this house we both loved. My mum is the same- she believes in things that are meant to be, and I'm starting to think that too.

Hope I don't get in trouble for reviving this old thread but just wanted to thank you all for your replies and let you guys know that it did eventually turn out for the best.

We ended up getting an even bigger/better house in the same area for only a little more than the one I mentioned in my post.

Mother knows best I guess?
