Toshiba laptop screen permanent mark

As of tonight I've had a permanent mark at the bottom of the screen the shape of a plaster , is no colour just blends with the colour of whatever is on screen but you can see the shape
I did spill my drink earlier and some went onto the underneath of the laptop but wasn't much, I wiped it off immediately and everything still works. Could this of caused the plaster shaped permanent mark on my screen?

Your suggestion is probably correct, spillages are a common risk with laptops. If you put yr model number into ebay together with "screen", you may well find the cost of a replacement. Some are simple to replace, others, well a b*gg*r.0

it appears more d3amag5e was done as now ive colour marksall over the screen i cant ype propery and it keeps turning5 off

You spilt the drink earlier as in earlier TODAY? If so, you should immediately switch off the laptop, disconnect the battery and put the whole lot in the airing cupboard for the night.0
