Passport in maiden name

I'm heading to Disneyland Paris next June, and have a passport in my maiden name with approx 5 years left on it. I've been told I can still use it if I book my holiday in my maiden name. If this is the case, should I get my ehic and travel insurance in my maiden name too? Thanks in advance.

Comments

  • EHIC cards last 5 years so if you plan to continue to use the passport you have then you're probably best getting your card in the same name as your passport. Travel insurance too if you are buying it as a single policy. If you are getting joint insurance with your husband then it might be easier to get it in your married name but tell the insurance company. In the end if you have a copy of your marriage certificate with you I don't think it will matter too much.
