Yes I know technically it isn't really a 12% discount, as the points are an addition and therefore it’s actually the reciprocal discount at 10.8%. However as that'd really confuse lots of none maths nerds, I decided to make it seem simple.

Surely the 12 points = 12 p off the next purchase. Therefore if the next purchase is for £1 you save 12p which over the £2 is 5%
OR if you take into account the 12p on the second item going on the third = 24p/300 = 8%
I just don't see how you get the 10.8% which of course is 12p/112p
That's only valid if you spend £1.12 and you don't you spend £1.
Please explain...thanks

you don't get money knocked off the £1, you get an additional 12p to spend, so you do spend £1.12 for every £1, maybe not at the same time, but in the long run that's how it works out. so the 12p/112p is right.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0
