I have a new laptop running Windows 7.

When i am on a webpage and highlight a section of text i then have an option to search with google - however when the seach page appears the text is not pre printed as in vista instead all I see is a blanc box to complete.

How do I solve this?

Because it has more to do with your choice of browser and/or nobody knows the answer, perhaps?

Works for me in Windows 7, so I have no idea - sorry.

Maybe have a look through your Google settings?

Have you changed your web browser recently? (I use Firefox)

What's wrong with IE9 & what else to use?

There are so many people on here with opinions I am suprised no one has said anything

Most people with any technical background ditch IE as soon as they can and go with either Firefox, Opera or Chrome.

Why did no one reply? You asked a software specific question without saying what software it was.

I use Chrome, but I think I can see where the problem might lie - check your search provider settings.
