went to buy tickets fror glasgow to prestwick to connect with a ryanair flight and the girl in the ticket office told me to bring the flight confirmation paperwork and i would get the train tickets for half price (BARGAIN):beer:

Im thinking , penny + tax flights. Free rail travel. Obviously change Glasgow/Edinburgh to get to Prestwick.Split ticketing thing.Im thinking Inter city to Glasgow/Edinburgh for the cost of ryanair flights.
ie free routes at moment are Riga, Derry and Grenoble.Derry being UK will be dearer as Gordons green tax will be both ways but riga is possible. Grenoble finishes the winter season on 16 April. so wont be available till next season in which case it will only be "half price rail travel"
RETURN FARE PRESTWICK/RIGA with 2 penny flights is £19.32 You dont need baggage coz you arent really going to take the flight= FREE RAIL TRAVEL
RETURN FARE PRESTWICK/DERRY with 2 penny flights is £36.600
