Postage charge is more than listing?

Purchased an item off ebay and there was only one shipping charge Economy Delivery at £6.00.
However when I went to pay for the item the shipping is £8.00 and there is no way that I can change the postage rate to £6.00 like the listing.
What should I do under these circumstances?

Ask the seller for a revised invoice showing the correct postage.

    Off eBay or from eBay?

Looks like it means 'from' eBay as they talk about checkouts and listings and so on.

Wording is ambiguous but communicates the right sense to me.

Contact the seller, definitely. Don't be too accusatory - wait and see what they say - but if they didn't put £8 on the listing, then you don't have to pay.

I know sellers can alter the invoice when sending payment details. I didn't think they can increase the charge though?

When sending an invoice, isn't there a bit where it says something like "discounts" and then a plus AND a minus sign? Can't remember as I never need to amend my invoices when I send them.

As an aside, I like your sig!:D
