£500 benefit cap per household?

Trying to understand the benefit caps that are supposed to be coming in next year.
If all under 25yr olds can not get housing benefit on their own and have to move back in with their parents, then what id they have children?
If a daughter under 25 moves back in with her Mum and Dad and she has 2 kids, is this counted as one household?
Will they only get £500 benefit total cap per household? What if the rent alone is £300 because they live in London? Are they all supposed to live on 200 to pay bills and food every week?

If the daughter has kids of her own then she can get a house of her own even under 25.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hello
The plan to stop HB to under 25's is likely to form part of the Conservative's re-election campaign and is not intended to come in before the next election so doesn't come in next year like a lot of the other changes.
The benefit cap will not affect all households and the reduction will be made from Housing Benefit firstly. This means that you may receive less HB than your rent but your living costs would be covered.

I think a single parent aged under 25 with no job would find it very difficult to rent a 2 bedroom house. Young couples aged under 25 can move into a 1 bedroom flat so all they really need is just a partner and no children. Do young adults really think about having a baby to get a flat of their own and more money coming into the house? I certainly never thought of it like that. Get job first then get house then get pregnant after getting a secure partner. So they will just go out and get pregnant to get a house ,I thought the whole idea was to stop this from happening?:footie:

I think generally they have done a good job considering the circumstances left to them and alot of what they did Labour would have done as well because it had to be done.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
I would not worry too much about anything in any party's manifesto - it all get's dropped or postponed as soon as it suits. That said, if we're part of the Euro Superstate by then, we can always introduce Germany's Hartz IV system, assuming they're not up to V, VI or VIII....0

When is the next major election?
I don't know how I feel to be honest, I suppose the cons are trying to sort our country out which is a good thing for us tax payers but bad for those who can/will not find work..
There just are not enough jobs for everybody, not with all the lay off's even with the public sector.0 -
