Ebay Argos Outlet dispute ?????

Hi i ordered a holdall from argos it never arrived contacted seller no response, so i opened a case on ebay, they responded with it was delivered and signed for by golden king not me!!! i said that wasn't me they told me to open a paypal dispute, which i can't do as i have opened 1 with ebay what do i do?? i don't get it? thanks in advance :)

    You will lose either a Paypal or eBay dispute if they can prove delivery, unfortunately.

    If it was a considerable amount of money that you paid, you can take legal action; however, that costs £30 and sometimes it's difficult to get a result.

    I would write them a letter, sent recorded delivery, stating that they have a legal duty (SOGA) to provide the item you ordered. That may help get a result without actually having to start a claim through the small claims court ('MoneyclaimOnline' as it is known nowadays).

    So i loose even though item was delivered to another address, signed for by someone else & i was in another country at the time ? :mad: it wasn't alot of money but thats not the point!

    If its under £150 then it doesn't matter who signed, it could be your dog!

    Perhaps you should focus on what crowqueen says or even use your card provider (if you paid by one) to request a chargeback. The seller will then have to provide a proof of posting, which should show the address anomaly......assuming your PayPal address was up to date!
