Faulty dishwasher

Hi MSE's
I have an old Miele G579SC dishwasher that has decided to play up. It seems to no longer use hot water to wash with. At the end of any cycle the tablet is left at the bottom of dishwasher, still not fully desolved, and anything greasy remains uncleaned.
I've opened it several times in mid cycle and have found the water to be always cold.
I have so far:
Cleaned filters
Cleaned jets
Run different programmes
Checked heating element at the bottom. This was done with a meter and also, it comes on at the end for the drying cycle so I know that works.
Does anyone have any tips on what the problem maybe?

Get a white goods engineer out to have a look if you done all of above. But if its old might be time to say goodbye and get a new one0
