Two Location Honeymoon - how??

Hi all,

Really sorry I'm sure this has come up before but I've had a search and couldn't find anything quite right.

For our honeymoon next April I really want to do 5 days in Florida then 5 days on a beach, maybe Hawaii or even the Caribbean.

Does anyone have any experience of booking something like this? I've used Trailfinders before but are there any others?

I really don't want to be ripped off but also with it being our honeymoon I don't think I want the stress of trying to do it all separately myself.

Thanks in advance :)

Most good long haul tour operators will be able to arrange a twin centre like this for you.

Are you aware that Florida has beaches?

I think that going all the way to Hawaii from Florida just to sit on a beach for five days would be absolute madness but I appreciate we all have different opinions.

Yes I am, it's just because we fancy seeing a couple of different places. We don't travel much so sort of wanted to tick a couple of places off in one go.

But obviously if it's insanely expensive we won't!

Florida to Hawaii would be one hell of a flight (it's on the other coast) about the same as flying from the UK to Florida so unless your crazy about 2 longhaul flights in 10 days  it would be better to do California to Hawaii.

Florida is huge if you have only 2 weeks have you considered something like a roadtrip from somewhere like Orlando to the keys

Virgin holidays do a florida multi stay maybe worth doing some dummy bookings and seeing what prices come up

We used Trailfinders for our multi centre holiday honeymoon.

They were great, everything worked out really well, & in 3 of the 4 locations we were given some form of upgrade (sea view, upgraded to a detached villa in the hotel grounds, upgrade to a suite with a view).

Maybe we were just lucky with the Trailfinders rep, but the impression I had was that she had genuine first hand knowledge of the hotels she recommended, & that she was in direct regular contact with them (hence the upgrades).

I should add, we have also had absolutely exceptional service from other companies (Geoddessey) & not such good service from some others, but generally, on our experience, Trailfinders would be up there as one of the good guys

Find an airline that will be heading to Hawaii and offers a free US stopover en route.

    Or book it all independently.

Florida to Hawaii for 5 days is just too far imoh , we did San fran to Hawaii for 5 days and tbh that was too far , Florida to Carribean is more doable , less time difference too

How about picking a cruise up from Florida?

We did this for our honeymoon (booked through Virgin) & loved it.

Not sure about the 5 days part - I think our cruise was a week.

Kuoni are great for this kind of stuff.

No connection, but have used them a number of times

Hawaii is insanely expensive , can you have longer then 10 days? , travelling is going to eat into your time quite a bit

Think about what you want to do in florida?

It's not that great a destination much better places in America.

You could base yourself on the gulf coast at a beach resort/hotel and still do day trips to the theme parks.

Hawaii is in the middle of the pacific way to far.

A nice caribbean cruise will tick of a few places if you don't travel much look for ones that include mexico.
or panama canal do a couple of days in LA 2week cruise and a couple of days in florida.

    WHATS THE BUDGET

Watch out for spring break pick you places carefully.
