What can be done about dented washing machine?

I bought a washing machine in September last year so its less than a year old.
Last night I was hoovering the kitchen floor and accidentlly donked it with the hoover so now theres a dent about half way up
I know its my fault but is there any way of repairing it? Or replacing as its quite new?

A dent will not affect the performance of the machine and frankly I fail to see what the trajedy is all about.
but
If you are determined to repair it, you should be advised that no matter how expensive the machine was the casing is about the cheapest part, it is made from cheap, thin galvanised steel.
To do the repair you will either need to take the top off (if it will go) or the back or turn the machine on its side to get access to the panel that has the dent and much like a car, you might be able to push the dent back out again. Brute force should not be required, just push it out gently using your foot with just enough force so that it does not go out the other way.0 -

If you can get the panel off lay it down on a flat firm surface that will not scratch it (towel on a wooden floor or table) and use a rubber mallet to tap the dent out...DO NOT PUSH IT OUT WITH YOUR FOOT as previously suggested, you will warp it.0 -
Drill and put a small screw into the centre of the dent and pull the screw and dent out with a pair of pliers.0

I know its not a tragedy
its just everytime I walk into my kitchen I see my new, dented machine
I had a look online and some people have suggested using a sink plunger, as you say the casing isnt exactly strong metal to I'll try that and see if that'll pull it out0 -
A suction dent puller may help - a few quid from Halfords or similar0

I'd prefer a dent than a hole. Especially since it will likely rust there.Herman - MP for all!0 -
