I've always wanted a monitor or two where you can rotate them, but with everything else I look for in a monitor they dont exist :[

I spent quite a bit of time looking for similar since I had that one at work. I only used the one in the picture for monitoring my teams calls so things like resolution and contrast ratio (which were both fairly poor on that monitor) wasn't really an issue.
What I did find useful on that one was 2 VGA inputs and 2 DVI inputs. It was pre-HDMI unfortunately.

    What size was the monitor?

I had 2 in my time there, same model but different size. I think that was the 15" with a strange resolution of 1280*700ish. The 17" was 1400*768 I think. I know both had non-standard resolutions but if I'm honest I can't remember them exactly.

I do remember the 15" version was £520 directly from Dell at the time it was bought and did have additional features that have long slipped my mind.
That picture was from 2008 and the monitor was already a few years old then.

I've recently dropped all hope of having a good size monitor that rotates, and caved in to getting that 24" Acer LED 1080p monitor that was half price on amazon, £125 ain't that bad. Would have been nice to have on that size and spec that'd rotate. Guessing the only way I can do something similar with it is get one of them multiscreen mount stand thingies and just mount them 90 degrees

My cousin dropped off an old monitor to me the other week, a 15" Viewsonic. At first glance it appeared to be a normal stand but I noticed the vertical tilt seemed a little excessive.
After playing with it I found the stand actually folded up into the back of the screen and doubled as a wall mount. The best part was it's just a generic 4 screw attachment with a few sets of holes that could fit to a variety of monitors, vertical or horizontal.

I haven't got a suitable place to mount it for my desk so I was thinking of mounting it in the bedroom with a better screen so my OH and I can watch movies from my server in bed without having a laptop sat on us.
