Bankruptcy Fees
Fantabulous
Have had a no-payment IVA through Grant Thornton since 2007 awaiting the outcome of a claim I was taking through Court.
The Court case failed.
Have informed GT that I need to fail the IVA and have asked for advice.
Advice received is that they only deal with IVA and to go to CAB.
I had expected that my creditors would - jointly - petition for my bankruptcy. Cannot get any information from GT, other than they asked if a third party would pay a portion of the debt. There is no-one that could help me with that.
On top of that Inland Revenue now want £12K repaid from WTC from before I started the IVA but have no intentions of bankruptcy.
I am on ESA due to disability, I don't have the monies to pay for bankruptcy, even though I would get the Court fees waived.
I seem to be now stuck.
Anyone have any sound advice for me please?

Hi Fantabulous, please still go to CAB as it is face to face and they will be able to help you.
There are a number of charities that may help with bankruptcy costs and fees depending on eligibility. You will usually need the assistance of a recognised Debt charity in completing applications and be patient can take a while to process too.
