Unison Bankruptcy Grant.....

Hi All
I am a member of Unison (Trade Union) and they very kindly gave me a £600.00 grant for my bankruptcy court fees. They sent a cheque made payable to HMCS and the courts will accept the cheque; with no need to wait for clearance.
Unison have a 'Welfare' department who deal with debt advice and bankruptcy, they were very helpful and understanding over the phone. In order to get the grant I had to supply bank statements, complete an application form and submit two wage slips. The cheque was with me just three days later.
So, if anyone out there is considering BR and you are a member of Unison, it's worth giving them a call.
Best regards x x x
