Hi
I am hoping to get a car this week on 29th, but the owner's insurance doesn't run out until 30th and they don't want to go through all the hassle plus cancellations fees for 2 days as it's a nightmare.
Can I insure the same vehicle legally from 29th whilst theirs is still in force, or do I have to wait until the 1st and not drive the car until then?
Thanks!

You can insure it from whenever you want.
(What the vendor's insurance position is no concern of yours as the car will be your car on 29th!!)0 -
