Easyjet @ southend - anyone with experiences to share?

Hi All

We are are family of 4 (2 adults & 2 boys - 8 & 14)

We are flying from Southend to Alicante with Easyjet in August this year

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences (good or bad) or have any tips when travelling with Easyjet from this airport?

Its a pleasure compared to Stansted etc. Only 3 gates, one shop and one cafe/bar

Moneycorp booth as you first walk in so pre order your money with hem online and tehy guarantee rate

Depending on where you are travelling from, the train station is about 50 metres away from entrance so do consider whether you can travel by train (Liverpool Street to Southend line)

Not that many flights per day yet so providing only one or two flights max going in coming out during your slot I am sure you will find it a pleasuable experience compared to big airports
