Hi all;
I have a tiny drip from what is the main water feed into myhouse.

Into my house the water feed is a “Blue” plastic pipe.Somewhere it changes to a “Black” plastic pipe.

Under my boiler at floor level this “Black” plastic pipecomes through the wall has a “T” piece “Copper Compression” fitting. The “T”piece has the “Black” plastic pipe in one side and another similar size pipe coming out the opposite side (Where the dripping leak is on the fitting) and a 15mm pipe coming up off it.

Where the leak is. Does anyone know what size this fittingis likely to be?? I want to just cap this off.

    I believe now after looking further. The fitting is a Conex 28mm x 28mm x 15mm reducing tee. But madness, I've jesy been informed that its a 25mm plastic pipe that fits into this.

    Does anyone have any answers on this...

    The blue plastic pipe is MDPE 25mm fitting after that it is usual to step it down to 15mm or 22mm (standard plastic or copper fitting sizes). If you look on any of the trade plumbing sites or Toolstation, B&Q etc you will find pipe/connectors/fittings and push fit end stops.
    It is not unknown for MDPE fittings to be a bit iffy to get them to seal, so it may just need the water switching off, draining down, then the fitting to be removed and refitted. If in any doubt though I would get a plumber as they are difficult little beggars.
    Good luck.

    yes agree but if it's black plastic pipe it's more likely to be 20mm, i have come across a few houses using this pipe, it's a pain in the backside.
    I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

    You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

    After my worrying. Driving home last night from work, it occured to me that I have "Minor Incident" cover through my bank account for leaks etc...
    Hopefully it will be sorted out today.
