Either Sony have learnt from Microsoft and Nintendo and manufactured enough to go round or people are put off by the rip off RRP and not pre-ordered as many stores thought they would.

Bound to be able to pick one up on release day.

They have manufactured enough but preOrders are down on both the 360 & wii. So either people walk into shops/buy online it wont sell more than them two on launch.

Play sell it with 3 games so the is even more expensive and out of reach for most people. Other than that, bundle packages usually include soso games which makes it less attractive.

Slighlty different, but I've often recevied DVDs a couple of days before release from PLAY. Perhaps they ship early to make sure you get it for the release date.

HI there, I'm actually dealing with the delivery of these and although the major players have had their stock for a few days now, they will only release the stock to the delivery companies on Thursday for guaranteed delivery on the launch date on Friday.

So there is NO chance of getting them any earlier - sorry.
